What is a break-into?

Updated Time:2025-05-23  Views:58

If a user wants to participate in the bidding for a domain name but did not place a backorder in advance, they can still pay an entry fee to gain bidding rights before the auction ends.

How to Join an Auction:

1.After logging in, click on “Auctions” in the navigation bar to enter the domain auction listings page.

2.On the listings page, find the domain you want to bid on and click it to view the auction details. On the auction details page, click “break into” to pay the entry fee and participate in the auction.

3. After clicking, a pop-up message will appear: "Confirm joining the break into? This will freeze a $7.00 entry fee! The $7.00 will only be refunded if you win the auction. If you do not win, the amount will be charged. Please note: The current displayed price may not be the latest. Thank you for your understanding." Once you confirm, you will successfully join the auction.

4. Note: The $7 entry fee is non-refundable if you do not win the auctioned domain. If you win the domain, the fee will be fully refunded. Since you did not place a backorder in advance, you will not see the current bidding price before entering. Please carefully consider before joining the break-into avoid any unnecessary losses.
